Our Team – Future

Philippa Lock

I am a Registered Osteopath and Sports Therapist with a strong focus on musculoskeletal health, injury rehabilitation, and overall well-being. My approach combines hands-on osteopathic treatment, sports therapy, and health and wellness advice to help clients recover from injuries, manage pain, and optimise performance. I work with people of all ages and backgrounds, tailoring treatment plans to each individual’s needs and goals.

As the founder of the clinic, I have brought together a highly professional and experienced team who share my commitment to providing the highest standard of care in a supportive and welcoming environment.

My career has included work with Fulham Football Club and the England Women’s Rugby Squad, where I gained valuable experience in elite sports performance and injury prevention. I have also taught sports massage at the Raworth International College of Nutrition and Sports Therapy, sharing my knowledge with the next generation of therapists.

Outside the clinic, I am passionate about hiking and trail running and enjoy taking part in events of different distances. I also practise strength training, Pilates, and yoga, which complement both my professional work and personal well-being.

Andy Cornelius

I am a Sports Rehabilitation Specialist and Running Technique Coach with a passion for helping athletes recover from injury, enhance performance, and prevent long-term issues occurring. With many years of experience working closely with runners, triathletes, and endurance athletes, I understand the demands of training and competition and tailor my approach to each individual’s needs.

I hold a degree in Sport Rehabilitation and postgraduate study in Strength and Conditioning. As a biomechanics and technique specialist, I work with athletes of all abilities – from recreational runners to Premiership footballers – developing individualised programmes to improve efficiency, strength, and injury resilience.

Trained with Gait & Motion, I use 3D running analysis and Footscan® technology to assess movement patterns and prescribe Phits® orthotics. This allows me to provide highly targeted rehabilitation and performance programmes that optimise biomechanics and reduce injury risk.

As a seasoned endurance athlete myself, I combine professional expertise with personal insight, bringing both evidence-based treatment and real-life experience to my work. My goal is to help you move better, run stronger, and stay injury-free for the long term.

Josefin Ivarsson

I am a Physiotherapist with a background in sports therapy and a master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Medicine. I have wide experience treating musculoskeletal conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, postural issues, and sports-related injuries. My approach is personal, hands-on, and goal-oriented, blending tailored exercise with each individual’s lifestyle and recovery needs.

My passion lies in helping runners overcome injuries, build strength, and stay injury-free through focused rehab and prevention strategies. While I specialise in running injuries and performance rehab, I am equally committed to supporting people in managing pain, restoring function, and improving their quality of life.

As an ultra trail runner myself, I understand the demands of the sport and the importance of keeping the body resilient and balanced. Whether you’re training for your first 10K or preparing for an ultramarathon, my goal is to help you move better, run stronger, and recover effectively.

I combine evidence-based Physiotherapy with expertise in running biomechanics, strength training, and personalised rehabilitation to support your journey, whether you’re overcoming an injury, preparing for a race, or recovering from surgery. My aim is to help you move well, build strength, and stay active doing what you love – for the long run.

On Thursday evenings I run strength class at Fitstuff, specifically designed for runners to build running-specific strength, prevent injuries, boost performance, and improve resilience.

Theika Botterill

I am a Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience in rehabilitation and injury prevention. With a strong sporting background, I have developed extensive expertise in post-operative rehabilitation, injury management, and performance optimisation.

I strongly believe that prevention is better than cure, which is why I focus on optimising movement, biomechanics, and overall function to reduce the risk of injury. My treatments incorporate manual therapy, acupuncture, and targeted exercise strategies to help clients recover efficiently and return to full activity as quickly as possible.

My experience spans both the NHS and private practice, as well as working with elite sports teams. I have had the opportunity to tour the UK and Europe with Premier League hockey teams, providing hands-on physiotherapy and gaining firsthand insight into the physical and mental challenges that injuries can bring. This experience has shaped my patient-centered approach, ensuring that every treatment plan is tailored to restore mobility, strength, and confidence.

As a keen sportswoman, I enjoy playing hockey, running, cycling, and taking part in British Military Fitness, keeping me connected to the world of sport and movement that I love to support in my professional practice.

Lizzie Quirke

I am a Registered Dietician and Sports Nutritionist (MSc) passionate about supporting athletes to enhance their training, recovery, and performance through nutrition. I recognise that nutrition plays many roles for active people; it is not just fuel for training and competition, but also an integral part of family routines, social life, and everyday living. My practice is firmly grounded in evidence-based nutrition, and I enjoy helping clients unpick common nutrition myths so they can make confident, informed choices.

I provide realistic, personalised dietary support, recognising that everyone’s nutritional needs are unique and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. I have a particular interest in supporting athletes through training, performance, and recovery in a practical and sustainable way.

Alongside my sports nutrition work, I have over 10 years’ experience as an NHS Dietitian, working across a range of clinical areas, with a particular focus on nutrition in cancer care. I am committed to supporting patients through holistic, compassionate, and evidence-based practice.

In my own time, I am a keen trail and ultra-runner, which has given me first-hand insight into the real-world challenges of nutrition for training, race day, recovery, and overall wellbeing.

Joel Redman

I am a Clinical Exercise Physiologist & Performance Specialist.

I provide VO₂ max, lactate threshold, running economy, and metabolism testing to help runners understand their physiology and train with precision. I am also a qualified running coach, offering personalised sessions that bridge the gap between science and training.

Alongside my performance work at Fitstuff, I am a Clinical Exercise Physiologist at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, with previous experience in respiratory care and cancer prehabilitation at The Royal Brompton and Barts Hospital.

A keen runner myself, I have personal bests of 15:08 for 5K, 31:44 for 10K, and 1:09 for the half marathon, giving me valuable insight from both sides of performance — science and athlete.

Elle Fulton

I am the Pilates teacher at Fitstuff. As a professional dancer, Pilates and Yoga have always been an important part of my life. However, following a serious back injury in 2010, I decided it was time for me to move away from the demands of stage life and I began the long journey of rehabilitation through Pilates and Yoga. I am grateful to those mindful and healing disciplines for helping me to manage and heal the pain, despite all the hard times I had to face, physically and emotionally.

Since then, in 2012, I completed my comprehensive teacher training in Pilates and remedial exercise through Alan Herdman, the pioneer of Pilates in the UK. More recently, I obtained a Yoga and Meditation Teacher Diploma from Yogacampus in 2019.

Because of my own previous ordeal in dealing with injuries and from my extensive experience in helping rehabilitate clients with multiple and various conditions, I strongly believe that everyone, no matter what fitness level they are at, would benefit from building a strong, supple and balanced body for general health, good posture and injury prevention.

I believe everyone can benefit from a dedicated Pilates class to help becoming more aware of their own body, prevent injuries or incorporating core stability and strength to their own existing training regime.
