New Runner Programme

New runners put your best foot forward! Ideal for complete beginners or for anyone who hasn’t run in years, this course will get you running and keep you running with confidence.

In addition to building up your fitness, this 6-week course teaches you how to warm-up and cool-down effectively, includes simple but important strengthening exercises and teaches you how to use a foam roller to get the most from your warm-up and cool-down routine. You will also learn some simple techniques to help you progress to the next level.

Our beginner running workshops are small groups in a friendly, non-intimidating and encouraging environment.

Our newbie runner’s courses are based on weekly group sessions. In week one you will start with 30 second run / walk intervals, and by the end of the course* we aim for you to enjoy your running and have the stamina to run for 20 minutes continuously. Each week’s session includes 3 simple routines to complete between meet-ups.
